INNERCITY HEAT

Acid and Rock
Cocaine and Crack
Inner-city Heat wit a moving beat, jumping on the rhythm track
Sounds of distant chants
Rebels after midnight
Rebelling against the system
Theyíre dancing in a new dimension
Dancing to a new vibration.
Fire and Rain
Blood and Pain
Inner City Jungle Coming To A Crumble
Inner City Jungle Rising Tides

Itís the same Move
But a New Groove
Itís the same Move
But a New Groove
Living on Welfare, Looking at Past Times
Politician, Politician ñ Jazzing up the Meadows
With Rocking Inflation and Rolling Taxation
Youths taking dope to cope
Dope to cope where thereís no hope
Only talking blues
and those dancing shoes.

Cocaine and crack
Inner-city heat with a moving beat
Jumping on the rhythm track
Sounds of distant chants
Rebels after midnight
Rebelling against the system

Fighting in the streets
Defending territories Setting up boundaries
Where thereís no security
No security

Blood stained graffitiís
Desolate no go areas
High rise, Low rise
High rise, Low rise
Fear, Fear where, there over here
Smoke from a distant mystic glow
Boys in uniform giving their life
for dying

People going mad, sad
Madness, madness, madness
And the DJ play from a volume high
Why! Why! Why!
While the music play in a lower key

Acid and rock
Cocaine and crack
Inner-city heat with a moving beat
Jumping on the rhythm track
Jumping on the rhythm track!
